Your Despisers Are Working For Your Good

"And when the Lord saw that Leah was despised, He made her able to bear children, but Rachel was barren." (Genesis 29:31 AMPC)

The act of despising Leah actually drew God's attention to her. She was expected to be grateful to the people that despised her, because without them God may not have remembered her. Rather than calling down fire on people that are despising you, pray to God and ask Him to remember you for their actions' sake. This truth also confirms the biblical principle that is stated in Romans 8:28
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28 NKJV)
Even when she was despised, God caused it to work for her good. Until we come to this point in your Christian journey, you will be unnecessarily offended and worked up by people and their actions.

ACTION PLAN: Do not be bitter against those that despise you, rather thank God that it will cause Him to look in your direction.

PRAYER: Father, uproot bitterness from my heart toward my despisers.
