We are in dangerous times and dangerous times call for dangerous faith for we can only conquer evil at the level at which it confronts us. The degree, the intensity at which evil is unleashed is also the level at which it must be repelled. The Bible says when the "enemy shall come in like a flood the Spirit will lift a standard against him". We are in dangerous times for we are at the end of days, and as we know from scriptures as the end of days draws nigh the evil one will do more wickedly knowing that his time is short and this is why the days ahead are not for the faint-hearted and chicken-hearted, we are in the days when we are to put on the whole armor of God!
The disciples came to Jesus to ask him what are the signs to look out for as the end of days approach and especially to the coming of the Lord. Hopefully, in the future, I should do a series on the OUTLINE OF THINGS TO COME, detailing from scriptures the last day's event that is bound to occur. For instance, many people have thought the rapture is the same as the second coming of the Lord and it is not. Many believers today don't know about the resurrection, the marriage lamb of the super, of the new heaven and the new earth, and the many other things that will come during the end of times. We shall delve into this not too far from now. But first, let's see what Jesus has to tell the disciples about the signs of the end of days!
||| And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows |||
Some interesting signs Jesus listed here as the signs of the end of days:
•deception will be on the high
•wars and rumors of war
•racial divisions ( nations here means ethnos, races, one race will rise against another, racial division, black lives matter and all that,)
•wars among kingdoms
•famines - economic turbulence and depression
•pestilences - outbreaks of diseases, germs, bacteria, viruses, plan, and unplanned pandemics
•earthquakes - which characterize all kinds of natural disasters.
All of these Jesus described as the beginning of sorrows. Hence by implication, the last days are the days of sorrows! What a roller coaster the end time will be and it's no breaking news that such days are already unfolding before our very eyes! We are in the days of sorrows! We are in the days of darkness, but for us who are called by his name 'darkness may cover the earth and gross darkness the people but the Lord shall arise upon us and his glory shall be seen on us".
The package for the last few days seems loaded with evil and danger. Yet amid all this Jesus tells us how to deal with what is coming. Read here what he said:
||| And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet |||
Jesus said there will be troubled times but do not be troubled amid your trouble! Hallelujah! How can someone remain untroubled amid trouble? Specifically, in John 16:33, he repeated the same thing:
||| These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world ||| John 16:33 KJV
How can you have an attitude of celebration amid tribulation? It's only by FAITH. Only dangerous faith can smile at natural odds and natural danger knowing fully well there is a way of escape in God!
It takes dangerous faith to be untroubled in a troubled world! I mean this is the level of faith that will smile at the storms and ignore the boisterous winds, and it is to that level of faith we must come to the end of times.
Look at how the three Hebrew boys responded to the king when they were confronted with the fiery furnace, they told the King point-blank, " we are not careful(bothered, perturbed, disturbed, concerned) to answer you in this matter"(Daniel 3:14). Hallelujah. They were smiling. The sight of a fiery furnace would not move them, they told the emperor we will not bow! This is how you remain untroubled even by your trouble - by faith!
Why were these boys not moved? They told the king "If it is so, our God whom we serve can deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king"(Daniel 3:17). Now that was absolute confidence, dangerous confidence in God which we call faith! It was the same dangerous faith that made Esther breach royal protocols and visit the king at a time she wasn't supposed to, but her attitude was that of dangerous faith, she said to herself, " IF I PERISH, I PERISH"! That was dangerous faith at play! Dangerous faith can confront dangers and evil with supernatural poise, calmness, and confidence! Dangerous faith is supernaturally confident in the ability of God to save even amid the most dangerous odds and evil! The dangerous faith is the "no-shaken faith"! Hallelujah!
This is a scriptural prophetic alert, that gets ready saints of God for the darkest days ever known to humanity is here and covid 19 is just the beginning, the stepping ladder for the many evils that shall visit the earth. The great reset has been activated and it is not political, it is not about health or physical, it is spiritual and diabolical, the enemy's wrath is stirred and he would do more wickedly on the earth. This will be a decade of many great dangers of pandemics, 'plandemics", wars, unrest, protest, and all. kinds of satanic manipulations and deceptions.
