When In Doubt, Remember To Pray

Acts Chapter 1:14 - When In Doubt, Remember To Pray

Scripture: They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus.

Observation: While waiting for the promised gift of the Holy Spirit, the apostles and others united in prayer with and for each other.

Application: When I feel I am in a "waiting state" in my life for God's direction, or favor, or promised gift to me, I need to be sure I continue to unite with other like minded believers. I believe this is not because God didn't hear me the first time, but to keep me covered in His protection and to protect me from temptation and other distractions from His will.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for other believers and for those whom you have put in my path to unite with, heart to heart, in prayer. I pray for protection not only for myself but for my family, and my church. May my prayers and those of others always please you. In Jesus name, Amen.
