The best place to start today's teaching is where we stop at the last installment. It has been the common feature of this series to quote from the one before it, because just like this series of articles demonstrates, there is a progression in the unraveling and fulfilling of Gods plan and purpose for our lives!
For some people, this new year begins a new thing that God is doing and for some this year takes them into the middle of his plan, while others are at the tail end of a plan that was started years ago. Again God has plans for us and some of his plans for us are just starting, while some are in the middle while others are at the end. Simply put if you are a child of God, our daily walk on the earth is a progression of a sort of Gods planned agenda for our lives. Knowing what these plans are is an advantage for this discernment of what God is doing enhances our spiritual positioning which in turn helps to bring to fruition Gods desire for our lives, communities, and nations!
I will quote copiously from the last article and we will flow from there into today's thought. Here is how we ended last week body of thoughts.
"Daniel saw that the time of captivity for the Israelites was 70 years and it was about coming to pass! This understanding made him to positioned himself in INTERCESSIONS for God to fulfill his word at the time he said he would do!
Take a pause here and put this to heart, prophetic declarations does not result in express manifestation. That is why Paul charged Timothy that according to the prophecies that went ahead of him he must war a good warfare!(1 Timothy 1:18). This was what Daniel was doing, in intercession he was enforcing the manifestation of every prophetic declaration! For we all know Israel was to spend 400 years in captivity but eventually end up spending 430 years. This is what happens when we don't understand Gods agenda for our lives and correctly position ourselves for its manifestation, we prolong that which belongs to us!"
Nothing that belongs to you will ever be prolonged again. This year 2019 there is a release of every held up blessings for you in the name of Jesus!
There is need to birth the fulfillment of every prophetic agenda in prayers. Daniel had the discernment of when Israel's captivity was to end and so he positioned himself in intercession. Read with me in Daniel 9:1-3.
"In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:"
Without spiritual awareness, many spiritual blessings bypass our reach! Daniel will not allow God's word to pass without laying hold of its promises, so he set out in intercession and ask for Gods intervention to bring to pass Gods plan and purpose.
