Often when a person is asked who they are, they will state a profession or affiliation rather than identify their true self.
The majority of people take little time to recognize in others (and themselves) that which is of God rather than that which is of man. As a result over time, they begin to blur the line between the two.
Never mind the entertainers or political figures, but even friends or family will get offended if we fail to recognize what they do, or that which they belong to, as if it was important to their identity. This, rather than recognize who they are and what they feel. Feelings are of God. All else is vanity and born of the world rather than the spirit.
