What If God Showed Up?

These thoughts came to mind this morning! God willing they will be published in the book I am writing. I hope to have it published by the end of May.

What If God Showed Up!

In 1985 I went through a seven-month depression brought on by a failed business and a failing marriage! In 1988 the marriage failed, and I had to take responsibility for my part of the failure! The marriage was over, and I was unable to fix it! I started to spiral into the depths of depression and I did not want to go to that dark place of hopelessness again! What could I do! At this point in my journey I already did not believe medication was the answer. I decided to do something I had never done before. I fasted and prayed seeking answers from God! God showed up! Not in a vision, not in an audible voice, but I knew what I experienced was Him. It is Theologically very deep and if I shared it, you may think I was crazy! There is a high probability I will share how I came to that conclusion in the book I am writing. I hope to have the book in print in six months.

What if my name was John and God revealed something to me that is in the last book of the Bible. Would I be called mentally ill? What if my name was John, not the same John, and I ran around telling people to repent! What if I live in the desert most of my life and ate locusts and wild honey! Would I be called mentally ill? What if my name was Moses and I went on top of a mountain and saw a burning bush and out of that bush came the voice of God. Would I be called mentally ill! What if my name was Mary and I told you I was going to have a baby conceived of God, would I be called mentally ill! What if my name was Jesus would I be called mentally ill! What if all these people were put on psychotropic medication! Would Gods purpose have been fulfilled? What if you are gifted not mentally ill and God has a purpose for your life!
