Lukewarm:
The one who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet has no firm root in themself but is only temporary, and when affliction or persecution occurs because of the word, immediately they fall away. Also, the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. Matthew 13: 20-22
Children of God:
The one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces, some a hundred, some sixty, and some thirty times as much. Matthew 13: 23 (Those who hear and choose God's commandments, God's righteous way, no matter how much affliction or persecution may occur because of it. They choose his commandments, his righteous way no matter what anxieties of the world they experience and over all worldly possessions.)
We must first and foremost love the Lord our God with all of our heart, with all of our soul, with all of our strength, and with all of our mind and love our neighbor as ourselves. Matthew 22:37, Deuteronomy 6:5
