What Bible Did Jesus Read From?

With all of the Bible versions out today everyone has their preference and opinion as to which is the best version and what books belong and don't belong, and lots of other babble...yet do we know what scriptures our own Savior read from?

If you take any Bible and hold all of the New Testament in one hand, and the old testament in the other hand you'll notice a great difference in size, and for good reason: the old testament contained the writings of the law and the prophets so, there was no reason to write them all over again when Jesus came.
Now another thing to observe is that when Jesus and His apostles were walking the earth:

the New testament never existed because they were living out then what we are reading now.

This would mean then that Jesus always read and quoted from what we today call the old testament: this has always been the scriptures of Jesus and the Jews then and now. When Jesus or the apostles wanted to convince their brethren about any doctrinal issue or prove that Jesus is the Christ, did they quote from the epistles of Paul? The book of Acts? No, they quoted and preached straight from the Law and the Prophets.

What does this make of the New testament? A majority of it's content is the life of Jesus Christ, commentary on the law and the prophets, church order and encouragement, and the final Revelation from Jesus Christ about the end of the world.
