JESUS CAME ONLY TO THE JEWS

From what I have seen, heard, and read, over many years about Jesus is how His name is misused. I shall begin this writing with His names that are used in the so-called, New Testament. The New Testament is really the conclusion of the Old Testament which was given to Israel and not to the entire Gentile world.

Jesus did not come to the Gentiles, He came to the lost sheep of Israel. Consider what He said about the Gentiles during His Earthly ministry.

Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter You not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Now consider that this being so, the things that He taught His disciples was for the purpose of the Jews, not the Gentiles. Yet today people insist on using the things said to the Jews for themselves as Gentiles.

Mat 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, You Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and besought Him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.

But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat 15:25-28 Then came she and worshiped Him, saying, Lord, help Me.
But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs (Gentiles).

And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is Your faith: be it unto You even as You will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

Be it unto you as your faith is; that is, she had faith that He could help her.

Jesus Heals Many

Mat 15:29-31 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

Mat 6:31- Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things. Seek you first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Apostles

Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them
, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

From the above verse it is clear that Jesus sent His disciples to the Jews and told them, not to go the Gentiles. If Jesus would have wanted the Gentiles to partake of the things which He told His disciples, He would have told them to include the Gentiles. This is where man today pulls out parts of scripture they desire to use for their purpose; irregardless if it was meant only to the Jews. Before preceding the following statements are injected to show this more clearly.

John 10:15-16 As the Father knows Me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Rom_11:13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Now if Jesus told His disciples not to go to the gentiles, because Paul was latter to be appointed to be the apostle to the gentiles, then why are the things which were for the Jews being taken and used by the Gentile churches of today? This is false teaching!

2Ti 2:14-16 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

One of the things that is used out of context is water baptism. Consider the following verses which deals with water baptism. The following is the first place in the Bible scriptures where water baptism occures. Consider the contents of the verses closely.

Mat 28:18-20 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

See our Blog on Revelation and consider this statement above concerning the world of Israel and the end of Their world. Obviously, these disciples are not here now, but this Planet is: But old Israel has gone.

Mat_3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Mar_1:10 And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: Luke_3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, You are My beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. John_1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.

For those who have read this writing closely, they will have seen that the Holy Spirit, ascended like unto a dove; That is gently. Also shown here is the second witness of the two witnesses: Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Luke_23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the Spirit.

Isa 42:1-8 Behold My servant, whom I uphold; My elect, in whom My soul ` delights; I have put My spirit upon Him: He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the land (earth): and the isles shall wait for His law.

Thus says God (Elohim) the LORD (Adonim), he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which comes out of it; he that gives breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand, and will keep You, and give You for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

I am the LORD: that is My name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

The Baptism of Jesus

Mat 3:13-17 Then came Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.

But John forbid Him, saying, I have need to be baptized of You, and You come to me?

And Jesus answering said unto him, Permit it to be so now: for thus it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he permitted him.

And Jesus, when He was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto Him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

So Jesus was water baptized and also baptized with the Holy Spirit. Consider Noah and the ark, and the event of the dove and raven.

I ask this, did Jesus need water baptism to have His Spirit saved? Did He need to go before an artificial alter to do this? Did Paul say he went to baptize the gentiles after their confession of believe?

1Co 1:12-17 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

It should be clear from the above scriptures that water baptism was for the Jews of Judeah and not for the gentiles whom Paul was sent to. It is as Paul teaches, even today.

May this writing be of a spiritual help to those who seek spiritual truth.
