Vulnerability

How hard is it to show one's vulnerability on here? Or anywhere for that matter. We feel the pressure of being the ones who have it altogether. Who have little or no flaws. I mean, if we are giving advice to others, we need to prove that our faith journey is deeper and more advanced than the average, don't we?
One of my brothers finally had to come clean and admit he was taking cocaine regularly. It mustve been hard for him to do that. His marriage was failing and he ended up in rehab as well. I admire him for showing us that he wasn't coping as well as he pretended.
When people admit to their failings, we admire their courage to do it. I used to attend AA meetings. The testimonies there were moving to say the least. People being openly vulnerable creates a real trust in the room, which is hard to find these days.
Then I think how wonderful it would be if we could develop that kind of trust on here. Deeper fellowship. Where no one is judged. No one is perfect but if no one admits their sins, it seems that way.
