It's been a long time since I have been back to CF and a lot has happened to me since I was last here so grab a comfy spot & some tea as I am about to share a lot with you ...
I had a job in retail for 2 - years & it was a wonderful job as I worked out in the garden center as a cashier and it was awesome to see all the beautiful flowers come in each and every day. But that all came to a end back in October when the company let me go for personal - reason's
2017 - The beginning of the year I had surgery on my eyes as I had cataract surgery done on both eyes and I must say that is a strange feeling NOT to be wearing glasses accept for to use when I am on the computer or reading distance.
Also this year ... I had to go in for some yet another surgery this time it was for my heart I found out that I was 95% blocked and had to have a stint placed in. So, it's been a rough go & I'm having to take all sorts of heart medication & in hopes that I can get rid of some when I see my cardiologist next spring.
This year was also a rough year for my husband. He has Crohn's Disease and had been in remission for 10 years and then he turned " 60 " and started to fall apart. He started loosing weight and it was not good. So, he ended up having major surgery which he had part of his - small intestine removed along with his appendix too. So, he is doing very well since July when he had the surgery. He is having to see his GI SPECIALIST from time to time for check up's so he just had some tests this week & we are waiting for the results !!
I got hubby home from the hospital in August and when we had gotten home I had gotten a call from my mother in NH to tell me that my dad passed away and so ... that broke my heart to get that news so ... we all had to make the trip back to NH to say good bye and so I was so to say good bye. My oldest son gave the message at the funeral. We also had thee Air Force Honor Guard gave him a awesome send off ... with a gun salute, and presented my mother with the flag which in turn she gave it to my oldest son. I will miss my father and so I will always LOVE HIM.
Well, that is what is new with me to date ... I will return again soon with more news. So, I am just asking that you all pray that I can find a job and get back to work really soon !!
