Shame is a weapon in the hand of the devil. He uses it to dissuade us from proclaiming our convictions to the world. Shame makes it easy in making someone compromise their standards. One of the things the Lord does to His vessels is to uproot shame in them. He does this by bringing you into several seemly shameful situations, as people geered and mocked, the Holy Ghost is at work inside of you putting shame to death. Before crucifixion and even on the Cross, the people mocked and taunted Jesus.
