Before we can fight the enemy we have to know who or what he is. A long time ago it dawned on me that we are not fighting a homosexual juggernaut, we are not fighting secularism, we are not fighting atheism, we are not fighting ignorance, we are fighting lies.
Anything that rears its ugly head against Christianity has as its purpose to spread lies and make all that Christianity stands for irrelevant and false.
That in actual fact is not difficult to work out because if anyone is fighting the truth there can be only one source. Satan himself. He is the Father of lies and he cannot tell the truth to save his life, that is why he is going to hell.
When you read scripture from Genesis to Revelation it is very clear that God has invested the future of mankind in the family. The first thing he said to Adam and Eve was to get married (their version) and to go forth and multiply. Marriage and children go hand in hand.
And so it was.
Then Satan decided to try and queer God's pitch and he invented all sorts of versions of God's one version. That is why we have such a powerful juggernaut today known as rainbow warriors. They are servants of Satan trying to destroy God's plan for society and thus society.
The enemy is not militant homosexuals. The enemy is Satan trying to destroy God's creation so that he can usher in his sexual utopia where nothing is off limits. And how does he do that? He uses lies.
Lies like you are born homosexual.
Lies like you are gay.
Lies like it doesn't matter who a child's parents are as long as they are loved.
Lies like love is love.
Lies like homosexuals have the right to be married.
Lies like if you disagree with what homosexuals say you are bigoted, hateful, intolerant and homophobic.
Lies like religion has no place in a secular society (atheism does).
Lies like once a homosexual always a homosexual.
I could go on and give you a hundred more lies but that will do for now.
Sad to say society and government believe these lies and if you dare to say otherwise, you are seen as weird or antagonistic. The government believes them to the point of making them law.
My State has passed a law that says it is illegal for anyone to help a person who has an unwanted same-sex attraction if they are a minor even if they ask for help. I have written to the government about ten times and said what do I do with those who I have counseled out of homosexuality and have got married and have children?
Do I have to tell them that it is illegal to stop being homosexual and tell them they have to embrace it again?
How many replies did I get? ZERO.
These lies do have one value and I use it in commenting and it is this. As they are lies, the truth is the opposite so one can defend their position and attack the enemy just by turning the lies back on them. When I do this, I rarely get a response. usually, it is foul language, vitriol, asinine comment or an attack on you personally. They never address the issue.
If as the scripture says it is the truth that sets you free, we must as guardians of the truth, speak up and defend it and call a spade a spade and expose the lies of Satan.
I did this in my local paper over legalising same-sex marriage. Any letter I wrote contained facts which were not able to be challenged. Every reply was a personal attack on me, calling me names and claiming I was homophobic, hateful, intolerant or bigoted. Not one person addressed the facts I had presented. In other words, they had nothing to say. All they wanted to do was give voice to their anger that they were caught standing on sinking sand.
Therefore, stand for the truth, anywhere and everywhere. God and you are a majority.
