Are we a product of our environment or of our own thinking?
Is not our thinking influenced by our environment? Whether we think in compliance with it, or seeking an alternative way to it, are the two still not influenced by the same?
Did not Jesus give us an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENT to weigh against our own? His set us free of worldly influence and allowed us to think "outside the box". We could become transcended.
How many as a result repented of our environment in favour of His, His Kingdom? How many were able to keep the two separate? How many to this day, especially within the mega nations, have taken the Christ's environment and way of thinking, and transformed it back into an environment of the world to suit our human selfish and political feral nature? Made Jesus' environment back over in our own image. How many who hear His Gospel of the Kingdom remain transcended? How many even know what the Gospel of the Kingdom even is?
Matthew 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Matthew 13: 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
