Who are these people that promote and support choosing which neighbour to love as self, all based on nothing more than what has grown into a politically based and inspired faith?
It seems to me the question that needs to be asked is what would their faith look like without the political agenda driving it's very existence in recent decades. When did Christianity become related to political conservatism, let alone any other man-made 'ism'?
Are people so blind as to not see how once again Adversary inspired mankind uses God for it's will rather than changing to suit the will of God?
Is strife and division, gathering 'lost sheep' to support man-made endeavours all while rallying to lash out at a couple of politically sanctioned 'evils', what Jesus had in mind in His teaching? Hardly.
Once again God's adversaries are keeping the people worldly in their ways and saying, all that you see can be yours. This rather than free and reborn into a physical and spiritual world of love and servitude that pays homage to God and mirrors the Kingdom. Instead, defending the ideals of mankind masquerading as light but keeping mankind in the dark ways of the flesh.
What would their Christian faith look like in any place in the world where that faith was not built upon political idealism and motivation.
Who are these who put on the armour to fight rather than defend? Who are these who play the same game as the rest of mankind, a game that has done nothing in loving all neighbours as self, but instead promotes division and hostility? These same ideals developed by mankind and used in every other endeavour of man. Ideals of man formed as a result of self determination based upon the suggestions by a satan that God didn't really mean what He said and that we can decide for ourselves what is right and wrong. Who are these people that say Lord, Lord yet fail to see beyond a life built upon environmental influence, an environment built since the very beginning, built upon a satan's suggestion. Ideals hostile to the Kingdom of God but serving man's desire to overrule other man.
We are all sinners and thus don't get to judge others. We are all sinners and don't get to promote ourselves over others. We are all sinners and don't get to promote our brand of human righteousness over that of others in order to lay claim to the man-made 'kingdoms' of this world.
We are all sinners whose should stop the division and fighting amongst ourselves. Point out how easy it is to be duped into following the wide path, and start working together to overcome ourselves and our very nature that got us banished to this world in the first place. Overcome that nature, not utilize it for more self gain promoted by worldly wolves in sheep's clothing who will use even God to achieve their worldly ends.
