Right now, as he lives to intercede for us, there is a steady flow of tears ... carrying the substance of the afflictions caused by sin on the whole creation. Everything that happens, happens within him, he is full of mercy and love and doesn't live by kneejerk reactions. If it weren't for his loving kindness, we surely would already have been consumed by our own sins.
