Anyone notice the lack of integrity among those in church who, when faced with an issue which challenges (and even topples) their long held belief and, proved it to be false wish to cling to it despite the truth? These same people like to say "This is not a salvation issue" but, ignore the clear passage in Revelation that no liars will enter into the Kingdom of God?
Let's face it lying = rebellion = pride. With all of these pseudo doctrines concerning the end times...I wonder how many are questioning their salvation with the sign of Revelation 12:1 being fulfilled on September 23rd, 2017? The near drying up of the Euphrates River which will usher in WW3? Those who have ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches! Instead of us fighting each other we need to be defending against the subtle attacks from Satan who hides in the Darkness.
We need to really question our salvation here people. Have we been keeping the Ten Commandments faithfully day in and day out? If not then we need to repent and start doing so, while avoiding sinning by not giving in to temptation. As John rightly stated we all have sinned and have sin in us yet, we may still abstain from sinning (1 John 1:7-2:1-4).
But what if we don't know every detail and intricacy of the Bible? Moses and John advise us thus:
"The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."
- Deuteronomy 29:29
"And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets."
- Revelation 10:6-7
We are advised to simply keep the commandments which have clearly been laid out and given to us and not to worry about all the mysteries of God which will all be revealed at the end of time in the days of the seventh angel. So there is no shame in remaining silent or saying I don't know, or that I don't understand concerning difficult issues and subjects instead of risking being called a liar.
Those who have objection to follow in the Law of Moses should really examine these two key statements from Jesus:
"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
- Matthew 5:18
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
- John 14:15
Has this old heaven and earth passed? No they have not: therefore neither has the Law passed nor all things been fulfilled. How do we express our love for Christ? By obeying His Law which was given to Moses. Anyone preaching otherwise is a liar, a snake, and a wolf in sheep's clothing headed for destruction. These two statements are irrefutable.
Have we counted the costs involved in following Jesus?
"He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me."
- Matthew 5:33
"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple[...]So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple."
- Luke 14:26-27, 33
In conclusion let us examine our words and our walk with Christ: are we talking the way He talks? Are we walking the way He walks? Our whole life with Christ or apart from Christ is a Salvation issue!
