There Are Explanations

There had to be explanation for how things were the way they were, just as there would be for how they are. God did not need or want sacrifices to God's self. God is in charge and busy with all the universe through all time while God is beyond all the universe and all time. God is not needing anything from it. Humans started sacrificing, but was it mainly for God? Not at all, humans found they could eat the flesh of animals they sacrificed, and they did not value the lives of the animals, while God did, and it was like a token gesture that God, or the "the gods" in most cases throughout the world where sacrifices continued, could take any of the meat of the sacrifice, and those making the sacrifice would eat all the cooked meat then. God did make use of that practice that people continued, with regulation to not sacrifice human people, which would happen and in some places did, to show the actual atonement God provided through having their practice symbolize it, that only worked if any of them came to faith through it. Most did not and the sacrificing of animals that continued were abominable to God. God designed people to eat edible food from the vegetation, where it grew abundantly, as it was in the beginning, and people were healthiest that way, and it helped people live longer. There were instances in history beyond then where that was in evidence as well. Unfortunately, though God knows this all along, human people who know of God being there value what God permits rather than seek what is God's perfect will, that would be for human people. There are yet other examples coming that will show this.
