Know God Personally
Do you ever feel there is just something more to life? A need for something greater than yourself, for love, hope, and security? A sense that God is working around you, but without an acute awareness of His presence?
God wants you to know Him
God was not going to leave you constantly seeking. Since the beginning He had a plan to let you know Him better.
- You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. —Psalms 9:10
- Jesus said ... "The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." —Luke 19:9-10
- God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. —Romans 5:8
- God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. —2 Corinthians 5:19
God presented His Son as a gift to account for our short-fallings so that we may know Him. But it is up to YOU to accept that gift. God does not promise an easier life, but He does promise a more fulfilling life. And He promises that after we die, He will raise us to life again and give us everlasting life with Him forever.
- "In Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world." —John 16:33
- "I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." —John 10:10
- "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" —John 11:25-26
