The power of the Holy Ghost raised Jesus from the dead. He became the firstborn of those that will be raised from the dead. He was raised in power and also abide in power. The Jesus we serve is All-Powerful.
"Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth." (Matthew 28:18 NLT)
After His resurrection, Jesus received all authority in heaven and on earth. This same power and authority has He bestow on us as we confess Him as our Lord and Saviour. The Jesus we serve is not a weakling. He sent us forth to preach the gospel in power.
We must walk in the reality of the truth that we serve an Almighty God. We are not weaklings, but sons and daughters of the Most High God. The excellency of power has been poured out into these earthen vessels. We now go about full of God and the powers therein. Let every Christian remember this truth.
We must also acknowledge His Lordship over our lives all the times. He has risen from the dead, is the Lord of all. All powers must now bow before Him. Hallelujah!
But if any of us is still playing with sin, such ones will become objects mockery by the world. Today is the day to desist from all sinful behaviours and manifest the fullness of Christ in God.
ACTION PLAN: Who is Jesus to you? Is He the Lord of all and your King? As He abides in purity and holiness so also must you.
PRAYER: Father, help me to remember, by Your Spirit, that I serve the All-Powerful God.
