The Perfect Sacrifice

Psalm 51:19 Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.

Unlike the burnt (smoke ascending) offering, no part of the kaleel
sacrifice could be eaten.

[H3632] kaleel=entire, perfect; from [3634] kalal=perfected
H3632 - kālîl - Strong's Hebrew Lexicon (KJV)

Leviticus 6:
22
The priest from among his sons, who is anointed in his place, shall offer it. It is a statute
forever to the Lord. It shall be wholly burned.
23 For every grain offering for the priest shall be wholly burned. It shall not be eaten.

Deuteronomy 33:10 They shall teach Jacob Your judgments, and Israel Your law.
They shall put incense before You, and a whole burnt sacrifice on Your altar.

Samuel’s Prophetic Sacrifice
1 Samuel 7:
8
So the children of Israel said to Samuel, Do not cease to cry out to the Lord our God for us,
that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.
9 And Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord.
Then Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him.
10 Now as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel.
But the Lord thundered with a loud thunder upon the Philistines that day, and so confused them
that they were overcome before Israel.

Now that the perfect sacrifice has been offered, there is no need to provide for the
priests
to partake from the altar.
1 Corinthians 9:
11
If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things?
12 If others are partakers of this right over you, are we not even more? Nevertheless we have
not used this right, but endure all things lest we hinder the gospel of Christ.
13 Do you not know that those who minister the holy things eat of the things of the temple,
and those who serve at the altar partake of the offerings of the altar?
14 Even so the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should live from the gospel.

For the cause of Melchizedek, and an endless priesthood
Hebrews 7:
11
Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people
received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according
to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron?
12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated
at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident if, in the likeness of Melchizedek, there arises another priest
16 who has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment,
but according to the power of an endless life.
