The Kingdom Of Heaven Is About Faith And Growth

"Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? To what can I compare it? It is like a mustard seed that a man tossed into his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.” Again He asked, “To what can I compare the kingdom of God? It is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.” Luke 13:18-21

The kingdom of heaven is not all about religious practices like being a good churchgoer or becoming some kind of bible scholar. Instead, the kingdom of heaven is about putting God first, having true faith, making disciples of all nations, and lovingly minister to those who are in need. Furthermore, the kingdom is about loving our Brothers and Sisters in Christ while we pursue perfect unity in cause and purpose. Moreover, the kingdom of heaven is all about serving our "King" Jesus the Christ as we, together, do the will of our Father in heaven.

As mentioned above in Luke 13:18-21, Jesus said that the kingdom was about faith and growth. He did not come to this world to establish today's manmade local church system that misleads many by creating a false sense of what it means to be a true follower of Christ. The Lord's intent was not for a whole bunch of people to claim to be Christians and separate themselves from one another while claiming to hold the truths about the kingdom. Regrettably, Jesus had already seen enough of this behavior from the religious minded Jews who were the 1st Centuries answer to today's modern-day local church system.

We who are truly the sons and daughters of the one true living Almighty God need to humble ourselves and repent of an arrogant church system that plagues mankind with false teachings, misleading traditions, segregation from one another, and all sorts of other worldly practices. This is an abomination and not what Jesus intends for His true followers. Furthermore, we must learn to follow Him alone! When will we realize that these manmade institutions create a distracting barrier for those who seek a true relationship with Christ. Our time in this world is short, and once we surrender our lives to serve Christ, we must quickly realize that life here in this world "is not about us!" "Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked." 1John 2:6
