  2. I just wanted to share something my fiance' came up with. She is a jewelry designer and has a shop with her daughter. They asked if I had an outlet for some of their items and I told them I would share it with everyone here at CF. So I started them an Etsy Shop account to showcase what they have done. And this is the first items! Check it out and let me know what you think!

    Thanks so much! - Rex

The Heart Of The Cards

  1. So I am somewhat back-and-forth about this. I have gotten into Yu-gi-Oh! recently and Seto Kaiba is one of my favourite characters. There are structure decks based on the characters like Seto Kaiba use in the show online, not very expensive either. I noticed some guys dueling the other day and during the sermon today, about how God can put friends in our lives and everyone needs friends, even introverts go make friends I thought I could get Kaiba’s deck and play with them. I know some of Kaiba’s strategies and what Yugi did to counter them. Only it’s a back and forth, am I getting the cards because I like Kaiba and want a deck like that, can I get it to play with them, or is it okay for me to get the deck that I like with mixed motivations? An account I follow on a different website posted: “So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God." And he said to his disciples, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.”
    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭12:21-23‬ ‭ESV‬‬

I misread it but it made me think that someone who hoards the materialistic things s/he wants is not rich toward God, so should I buy the deck and maybe not have the oppurtunity to play those guys or have the risk that I’ll chicken out asking if I can join when I like Seto Kaiba’s character or not get the cards? And/or; if I am to get cards to try and get the nerve to play with others, does it make sense to buy Kaiba’s deck since he’s a favourite and I know how to use some of his cards?

@THE W , @mukk_in I went ahead and ordered Kaiba’s deck, and while I was trying to get free shipping (only for orders over $25 or prime members which I don’t order often enough to have already) and I found a blue eyes deck too (structures around a specific card from the show) and a card case. I thought it would take too long to get here so I got the prime free trial and everything should be in by Wednesday at 8pm. :) I also just thought, maybe I can use two decks and teach others how to play.

Lil Glow, this is about being possessive about possessions not merely having possessions. The same Lord also promised possessions and wealth to His disciples who had left everything to follow Him. If God gives you possessions put them to good use in His Service and He'll keep giving you more. Give thanks to God and enjoy your life, but don't let it control you. Glad you're well. God bless:).

get the cards and go have fun.

those verses are speaking to those who put confidence in material possessions, not those who want to participate in a hobby.

not to mention you have the opportunity to make friends and be a good witness to those people for Christ. go for it!
