Wisdom...!
Man.. I wish I'd realised the importance of this way sooner!
Went for a walk the other day to get some space from where I live. It was really nice.
I have needed and still do need to spend that time with God more, there's something about Him knowing the depths of what is going on in your soul and yet He still waits for you to open your soul to Him. At the moment for me it takes time for me to let down my guard to God - maybe because I have to hold my guard high in the rest of life sometimes. I do know that He is trustworthy though it's just that I'm so used to keeping those hurt parts of me protected I guess that with God it takes a bit of time for them to come down so I can be real with Him. But yeah, He is a gentleman and respectful of boundaries and I deeply appreciate God doing that, for caring about me enough to wait til I am able to let Him get near the real me.
People talk about God pursuing them and yes there is that aspect of God but more for me it is Him not invading my privacy which makes me melt and want to be around Him.. safety is a big deal aye, well for me it is at the moment.
He knows us so well, each one of us, what we need, He really does meet us where we are at.
