Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 8:47 a.m. – I woke from a dream. All I can remember of it was that I or someone, at the end of the dream, assured us that the government was only going to get bigger and bigger. I got up out of bed and was praying about this when I saw the face of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Jesus, I am resting, resting, in the joy of what Thou art; I am finding out the greatness of Thy loving heart.
I got out my Bible to see where I had read last so I would know where to read next and I was praying before I read when I saw the face of Barack Obama. So, I began to pray about that when I saw military officers in Hitler’s Germany. They were outside a building moving about like they were getting ready to leave. One of them was putting on a pair of gloves. I then saw a bicycle and I heard the bell ringing on the bicycle and then I heard the honk of the horn on the bicycle. Then, I saw one of the military officers strike the side of the face of another officer with his gloves.
Rob Lowe is in my head again. He was in a vision from earlier this morning. I am reminded that he played the role of a mute in Steven King’s The Stand. I would not recommend watching this movie:
Next I saw the face and the horns of the bull and then it was like the face and horns were on the front of a car (I’ve seen this before). Then, I saw what looked like the head of a cow being twisted up and over to the side.
Following that I saw a goat or a ram with the curly horns standing on top of a hill with an air of superiority about him; an air of power and of a conqueror in battle.
Then, I saw what looked like a very muscular buffalo in an upright position as though he were a man. At first glance I thought he was the bull, but at a second glance, he looked more like a buffalo.
I saw Rob Lowe again in his role as the mute (not deaf). Then, I saw “the wiener” from Lou Dobb’s show on CNN. I was trying to think of his name when I heard the name “Robert Zimmerman” who is also on the Lou Dobbs show with “the wiener,” Michael Goodwin. Then, I saw the face of Lou Dobbs. I inquired of the Lord when I heard “Master of the Universe,” so I inquired more when I saw what looked like either a snake or a rope wrap itself around the neck of Lou Dobbs, pull back and then choke him, as if someone was standing behind him doing this.
If I'm gonna be in this world but not be of it, Lord, I need more of you in all that I do. Put a little more life in my day.
After that, it was like someone was flipping through news channels, for I could hear one newscaster after another. I heard, “the Vice President, Dick Cheney,” and then that one faded out and I could see and hear about the Pope on another channel. I could hear and see various stories that are in the news right now.
O Lord Jesus, how long, how long ere we shout the glad song, Christ returneth! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Amen.
Then I saw Jesus standing in the sky with his arms outstretched. I saw a throne and a crown upon his head and then I saw seated on the throne a lion with the crown on his head. I heard,
"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!" (Revelation 5:12) END

Against Judah

The Great Day of the Lord
14 "The great day of the LORD is near—
near and coming quickly.
Listen! The cry on the day of the LORD will be bitter,
the shouting of the warrior there.
15 That day will be a day of wrath,
a day of distress and anguish,
a day of trouble and ruin,
a day of darkness and gloom,
a day of clouds and blackness,
16 a day of trumpet and battle cry
against the fortified cities
and against the corner towers.
