Tell Of God's Faithfulness All Day Long

'My tongue will tell of Your righteous acts,all day long,for those who wanted to harm me have been put to shame and confusion' (Psalms 71:24)................'My tongue will tell..' Tongues can do untold good,when used properly. They can do untold damage when used unwisely. 'If any man among you seems to be religious and bridles not his tongue,but deceives his own heart,this man's religion is vain' (James 1:26) 'The tongue is a small part of the body,but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire,a word of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body,sets the whole course of one's life on fire and is itself set on fire by hell. All kinds of animals,birds,reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind,but no human being can control his tongue. It is a restless evil,full of deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our God and Father and with it we curse human beings,who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the mouth comes praise and cursing,my brothers and sisters,this should not be' (James 3:5-10) The Psalmist said,'My tongue will tell of Your righteous acts,all day long..'To tell - communicate to others with spoken words,to reveal truth! The Psalmist was so grateful for the faithfulness of the LORD. God protected him from those who wanted to harm him. They were brought to shame and confusion'.
