Take Heart Weary Believer....

  1. God is, indeed, the greatest in status, authority and power, over all creation. Jesus is, indeed, King of kings and Lord of lords ruling over all. The rule of the Godhead, over all creation and for all time, is God's absolute rule. Nothing and nobody can supersede the Lord.

This world's works are evil. Jesus says it is so (John 7:7). The nations rage against the Lord (Psalm 2:1-2). The Devil walks feverishly about, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). It would appear that all that is opposed to God has the upper hand here below.

Yet Jesus has overcome the world (John 16:33). The LORD sits in heaven and laughs at the raging, rebellious people (Psalm 2:4). The Devil is tightly bound by the will of God (Job 1-2). This world we can stand against, the rage of the people we can endure, the Devil we can resist, all in the knowledge that the God of all grace, who has called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus will, after we have suffered awhile, make us perfect, establishing us, strengthening us and settling us. Give Him all of the glory for His dominion is the only everlasting dominion (1 Peter 5:10-11)!!
