Struggling With Covid

I'm probably around two years into remission but for whatever reason my immune system didn't get the message. My battles with pneumonia will be what gets me before the leukemia does. My wbc is slowly creeping back up, only 20k right now... Woot Woot.

In January I ended up with covid and didn't think I was going to make it through. In March it hit me again though only around 75 percent as bad as the first time. June was round three and mild, now I'm on number four and it's mild also. Finally the doctors listened to me and tested me after all this. I tested positive for antibodies and the covid virus is active at the moment. I'm currently on lockdown by the health department. If things weren't bad enough testing positive makes people treat you like the bringer of death. What kept the doctors from testing me on day one was the symptoms. I've yet to have a fever. I do believe my savior in all of this (God #1) was the steroids shots I get once a month and the ones I take daily. The steroids break up the stuff in the lungs and stop inflammation. If I didn't have those I wouldn't have been able to breathe. Every year I get pneumonia at least twice but fully recovered. This virus is different. I am always out of breath and have a hard time just taking out the garbage. I do believe this will be permanent damage.

Anyway, regardless of what is being put out as symptoms here's what I keep going through and what you might want to look for and the order stays the same each time.

1. Sore throat and swollen lymph nodes in my neck. One or two days.
2. Constant headache at same time as sore throat.
3. Upset stomach and diarrhea. Again only a couple of days.
4. Infection sets up in the lungs and it's hard to cough up. Comes up really thick and seems to be in the upper part of the lungs. This lasts for a week. Body aches and exhaustion accompany the coughing. I now have a permanent cough.
