Strange Things

  1. I don't know why, but today I had a weird thing happen to my ears I haven't felt in a while, I remember it from like freshman year but also sophomore or junior year. My ears will ring and/or have this sound like either an air conditioner or an airplane engine, sometimes I can't hear any real sounds at all but today I could hear some other students in my classroom with these other sounds. My ears were ringing after that and are ringing again now, and I have a headache and I have noticed a slight but noticeable pain in my upper left arm even though I can't think of why it would be injured or sore. the pain has slowly gotten worse, but it also is a easier when I am not using that arm. My eyesight has also been sometimes poor, my right contact feels weird especially if I touch my eye, but not the worst. On another note, I am back and forth, I want help understanding the bracelet I have but also not wanting to post it online because it's something I have had for a long time and I don't know, personal hesitations about it.

Praying for you, and it sounds like seeing a physician would be worth while for your ear issue. I am always open to a PM if you need to talk.

Do you have allergies? That air conditioner noise you describe sounds like it might be eustachian tube dysfunction. I'm not a physician. It only takes about 5 minutes to diagnose correctly though.

    Praying for your health!

There could be a middle or inner ear infection kid. It's called "CSOM" or chronic suppurative otitis media. The Eustachian tube which drains the middle ear may have become partially blocked leading to a sense of fullness and rigning in your ears and dizziness (vertigo). Don't worry, it's not life-threatening and can be treated easily with a dose of antibiotics. I'd strongly recommend consulting an ENT (ear-nose-throat) specialist right away. They'll fix you up in no time (it happened to me before). If it's just ear wax, they'll flush it out and prescribe an anti-histamine like Cetirizine Hydrochloride. You can also try a nasal spray (decongestant) to clear your Eustachian tube.

You may need some time to get used to your contacts. If you develop a rash or allergy please see an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) right away. In the future, you may also consider laser eye surgery (quite painless actually. My sister had the procedure.)

Glad you're well otherwise. I'll stay in prayer for you kid. Do keep us posted here. God bless :).

My left ear has been sort of clogged for while, it's hard to hear in it. We think the ear problem is due to the excessive flying we've been doing this summer.
