So as I progress in my repentance and trying to surrender my life to God, I am getting lots of strange reactions from people as I go out in public... like, today, I was driving around looking at apartment complexes and going in to the office to speak with the leasing agent to find out about pricing, availability, etc. I went in to this one and the lady was a very sweet, kind lady and I asked her if I could have an application and she gladly started to go get me one, but the maintenance guy was right by the door and he blurts out ''NO!'' very rudely. Then he goes ''YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE AN APPLICATION, YOU HAVE TO PAY 25 DOLLARS TO HAVE ONE.'' Me and the lady just look at each other completely shocked at how rude and obnoxious the maintenance guy is acting. She says ''Umm I'm pretty sure he can have an application and fill it out and bring it back'' and he's like ''no he can't have one,'' when it clearly has nothing to do with him or his job. So she calls her manager to ask her if I can have one and the manager says it's fine if I have an application.
My initial reaction was to absolutely despise this man because of the way he was acting, but then I realized that it wasn't him doing it, it was the spirits inside him- ''For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.'' -Ephesians 6.12. He was manifesting right in front of everyone and that poor lady had no idea what was going on. It was frightening how much he hated and disrespected me for absolutely no reason, I was being as kind and respectful as I could.
Little things like this keep happening with people blurting out extremely rude remarks to me and it always shocks everyone that is around at that time. Has anyone else ever experienced this? What have you experienced?
