Spiritual Maturity

As we grow in Jesus Christ, we become more like Him.
.
Our motivations that began as very fleshly are replaced with more Godly ones ... if we trust him to Romans 12:2 in our lives. Trust/faith is the beginning of this journey, and how we continue and how we grow is based on how we trust him to replace the old dead self with a new living creation that reflects His glory.
.
The way we spiritually mature is influenced how we see God, this is because our trust in God is the most constant factor in our spiritual development kind of like breathing. The parts of God we see based on who He is as the I am "just is" and trust, becomes part of us.
.
However, if we trust in a God that is the antithesis of the Mercy of Jesus, for a time it might seem it might have been better to not have ever been transformed. But Jesus is able to keep us from falling, and to present us to His Father with exceeding Joy. Since He is able, this is worthy of a Halleluyah in advance as we trust Him and pray for the edification of the whole church to His glory.
.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:17)
.
Heavenly Father, may you continue to work in our lives with your Holy Spirit to make your love mature within us so we will not be afraid of you or the judgment because in this world, we are like you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Amen.
