Grace has been given to every one of us. We have been redeemed, sanctified and engraced for good works. Jesus descended into the place of death, discomfited the devil and his cohorts. He later ascended into the heaven, sent the Holy Spirit of promise with spiritual gifts.(Ephesians 7:8-10)
No one can claim to manifest gifts of the Holy Spirit without first and foremost accepting Christ. He is our Benefactor: "Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men."(Ephesians 4:8). You cannot access these gifts without accepting the giver of them; Jesus Christ. Confess and forsake your sins today, ask Him to come into heart and dwell, by faith.
ACTION PLAN: Are the gifts of the Holy Spirit beginning to manifest in your life? Do you desire them? Receive grace to accept the finished work of Christ on the Cross.
PRAYER: Confess your sins to God and ask Him for grace to forsake them.
