Today was a difficult day. I prayed today that the Lord protect me because I could feel I was under spiritual attack heavily. I had flashbacks to when I was sexually assaulted and it caused me a great deal of emotional pain. It made me feel worthless. I prayed to the Lord to protect me and he told me to read Song of Songs and to put several verses of Song of Songs on my mirror in my room so I could read them daily. Song of Songs is one of my favorite books of the Bible. It comforts me greatly. I did what the Lord said and it comforted my heart. Song of Songs reminds me of Jesus' love for rejected or suffering people and his church. It made me feel beautiful to read how loving Jesus is toward us. It made me know he will be with me until I heal and that I will be safe in my soul again.
