So Like, What's The Difference Between What Christian's Do And Magic Users?

For a number of years, I went on a journey to discover what was distinctive about Christianity if anything, since I had a condition that made it difficult to fellowship, might as well examine things objectively and see what I could find out.

The main difference between prayer and witchcraft is that prayer connects to the creator through our faith to make something happen. That being said prayer sometimes doesn't happen, this is when the will is forcing it to happen and there's no trust in God to do it at all. Sometimes the scripture is used as a spell book emotionally blackmailing God to do something because he promised. It's important to remember that God created us to be like Him, so He's more human than any of us, treat Him with respect in your communications.

Witchcraft or Magic began as a discipline that sacrificed a part of the creation to make something happen or repair something else that was decaying. The continued use of this power over the centuries and millennia took its toll on reality so the mythical degree of magic that you might read about or see in a movie is not really possible anymore. I won't discuss why here.

One of things I had to deal with in my weird condition was a raw form of magical waste byproduct that seemed to be everywhere like nuclear fallout would be at the end of the imagined world war 3. This byproduct seems to block "faith" and behaves like "sin" in the bible when it gets into people's thoughts and emotions. I found praying to discern the "sin" then confessing it dissipated it much like regular sin in the physical body.

Prayer does not cause a waste byproduct, and is our connection to the creator.

The difference between what Christians do and what magic users do is not only the type of connection (faith vs will) it is also the waste that is created by the sacrifice of the creation and how it negatively affects the minds and hearts of people who are entirely unaware of it all.

The assertion that magic causes no harm, (even when it heals) is much like those nuclear power ads that say it's a "clean air" energy, not mentioning what it does to the water.

One of the principles I used to determine if something was bad during my journey through muddy waters was in Romans Chapter 13:
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

I gave "magic" a long space of time to just exist in front of my face as other people used it in the present day manifestation, and see that it has caused much harm in the past, the waste by product continues to cause harm, and the new forms that sacrifice the inner person of the user little by little are no different.

Since murder causes a stain on the earth, (according to scripture) I am appalled at the treatment of this issue in the past, it just compounded the harm to the creation.

My proposed application if you feel you are encountering some invisible waste that acts like sin within you is to trust God and confess the sin, take time to continue trusting God as He takes it all away.

There's no easy solution to anything since everything in the creation is interconnected in terms of dependence, and also through invisible means that the scripture also refers to implying our intent to sin is the same thing as doing the actual act. However, as we trust our most Holiest of all Gods, we can trust Him to make all things new. Continue the faith walk to redemption and the new heaven and new earth.
