As a wounded war vet...
Memorial day can't come and go soon enough...
I appreciate the day...really I do
but, the memories it stirs, breaks my heart all over again.
I have seen the dead and seen the scars to families...
I can't seem to get rid of it....
It hurts, like a giant bearhug where you can't catch your breath.
