Case 2: Jesus said did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He will judge us on the Last Day. So, if Jesus did not come to judge the world, the question remains…Are we greater then HIM thinking that we have the power and right to judge others?
John 12:46-48 (New King James Version)
46 I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if anyone hears My words and does not believe,[a] I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
Case 3: We will all be judged by the Son of Man for has God had committed all judgement to the HIM.
Matthew 25:30-32 (New King James Version)The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[a] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.
John 5:21-23 (New King James Version)
21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22 For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgement to the Son, 23 that all should honour the Son just as they honour the Father. He who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent Him
John 8:49-51 (New King James Version)
49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honour My Father, and you dishonour Me. 50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death
1 Corinthians 4:2-4 (New King James Version) 1 Corinthians 4:3-5 (New King James Version)
2 Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful. 3 But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court.[a] In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.
Corinthians 5:11-13 (New King James Version)
11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person. 12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.”[a]
Hebrews 10:29-31 (New King James Version)
29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,”[a] says the Lord.[b] And again, “The LORD will judge His people.”[c] 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God
Case 4: Only Jesus judgement is righteous and true.
John 5:29-31 (New King James Version)
29 and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30 I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgement is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.
John 8:14-16 (New King James Version)
14 Jesus answered and said to them, “Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. 15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16 And yet if I do judge, My judgement is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me.
Case 5: We judge according the flesh: for in our minds we judge with prejudice, partiality and favour toward one and evil intent toward another. No one except Jesus can judge with fairness, impartiality, with tolerance and with truth.
James 2:3-5 (New King James Version)
3 and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, “You sit here in a good place,” and say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit here at my footstool,” 4 have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?
Case 6: The law of God will judge all NOT just the sinners. God will judge even the secrets of the heart.
Romans 2:11-13 (New King James Version)
11 For there is no partiality with God.12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified
Romans 2:15-17 (New King James Version)
15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.
Case 7: So you are asking, when is it okay to judge? Bible only states we are to judge among ourselves within our own church. It is here we to point out the error of the brother (if he commits a SIN) and if he repents we are to forgive (7 TIMES 7…AS MANY TIMES AS HE ASKS FOR FORGIVENESS) and if OUR BROTHER REFUSES TO REPENT. It is then we have a right to remove this brother from our church if he continues in doing evil without repentance. Noticed that highlighted the word sin…this does not mean we are to judge one’s worship, salvation and so forth. We are to only judge by their sin that they have committed. We must remember vengeance and judgement belongs to our Lord. We are not to judge those outside the church for; again, judgement is our Lord’s alone.
