Santa Claus Is Real

Santa Claus or Saint Nicholas as he is also called was a real historical person . As a child he loved reading the scriptures .He came from a wealthy family and his parents died when he was young. At times he would sneak out at night and help others in secret . One account is told that he threw a bag of gold through a window of a poor man's house who needed dowries for his daughters otherwise they would be sold of to slavery. The coins had spilled out of the bag and landed in their shoes this is how the custom of leaving shoes out and hanging stockings started. Nicholas latter became a bishop thats where the red robe came in. The Roman empire at the time was persecuting Christians in 303 a.d Bishop Nicholas wouldn't renounce Jesus and they sent him to prison for five years. One of the miracles he performed was asking the captain of the ships of grain headed to Alexandria to give him hundred measures of grain from each ship one measure was enough to make one loaf of bread to feed the starving . The captain said he was accountable for the full load of grain even though it wasn't needed cause Alexandria had plenty. Bishop Nicholas convinced the captain if he gave them the measures he asked for they would have their full load when they made port . The captain agreed and when the load was measured it was a full load and Nicolas had enough grain to feed the starving and the grain kept multiplying and lasted 2 more years. When 2/3 of the world today lives in poverty on less than 2 dollars a day and millions are starving many children . People need to remember more than ever who the real Santa Claus is and what he stood for.
