Revelations Of Jesus - I Am Statements

The revelations of Jesus are the revelations of life - no better words or higher words have been spoken. And himself said when we continue in "these words" we will encounter true liberty (John 8:32, 36).

‘And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.’

He said in Matthew 7:24-27 that building our lives on his words amounts to building our lives on the rock - storms of life may come in the world but with the word, we will outlive the storm.

‘24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it

Hallelujah. In other words, the benefits of following the revelations of Jesus are:

His words are:

  • full of power and wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:24, Mark 6:2, Luke 5:17)
  • spirit giving and life molding (John 6:63)
  • they are higher words for living the higher life or superior insights for supernatural living (Matthew 5:21-22, 27-28, John 14:12)
The supernatural living is available and accessible to all for as the father has sent him so he sends us (John 20:21). Whatever the father experience while here on earth we must experience greater measure! One way to position ourselves for such glory is by learning and living by the power and the wisdom in the words of the master!

We learned about the 'I must' statements of Jesus. This statement reveals the purpose of the master. In the next few studies, we will look at the 'I am' statements. These statements reveal the personality of Jesus! His personality reveals his character, His character reveals his work!
