Rejoice, For This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made

"This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24). Whether you are reading this message in the morning, evening, or somewhere in between, It is the right time to open your heart and thank the Lord for what He has done for you. The Father loves you so much as He sent His only Son, Jesus, to make you a member of His family. In fact, He Himself is the only way for mankind to reach heaven. Some of you reading this may already be in a spirit of joy and thanksgiving. Others may be feeling disconnected and distant in your relationship with the Lord. And still others may deep down inside wonder if they have a true relationship with the Lord. In any case, this moment is a blessing for you because this truly is the day that the LORD has made and we have great reason to rejoice and be glad in it.

For those who are walking closely with the Lord, you may have had your struggles today, but in spite of the attacks of the adversary (Satan) you know the Lord is in control. Even though you have endured the constant battle to keep your eyes on the Lord you know He remains right by your side. Your comfort comes from Him as you serve the kingdom of heaven in a world that is filled with those who practice sinful disobedience to God. You are His true servant and have every reason to give Him all of your praise and all the glory because He alone is worthy of our worship and praise. Your heart is probably sending Him praise and worship as you read this. Keep your eyes on Him as on this day there may still be work that He wishes you to do for the kingdom. The harvest is plentiful, and yet the workers are few. Therefore, "This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24).

For those of you who may be feeling disconnected or distant in your relationship with the Lord, be encouraged. The Lord remains by your side even at this moment; this is in spite of your circumstances, failings, and struggles. These are the times we can lean most heavily on Him for help as His love for you never fails! In fact, as you are reading this you know this to be true, yet Satan will do all he can to help you to feel shame and a sense of unworthiness. This is a lie; how could you possibly be any more or any less worthy than the day you surrendered all and came to know the Lord? Our worthiness does not come from what we do or don’t do because none of us were ever worthy in the first place. It is the longing of your heart to be reconciled that He seeks, that you desire to truly surrender all as you did when you first met Him. I pray you will open your heart and send Him praise and worship as you read this. Keep your eyes on Him as on this day there may still be work that He wishes you to do for the kingdom. The harvest is plentiful, and yet the workers are few. Therefore, "This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24).

For those of you who may be questioning whether you have a true relationship with the Lord, today can be that day! The Lord loves you so much and wants you to turn your heart towards Him right now. Jesus died for YOU. He wants you to open your heart and surrender your life to Him just as He freely gave His life for you. The Lord wants you to turn away from your life in this world that remains separated from God. Jesus wants you to live a life where each day you seek to serve the kingdom of heaven. It does not matter if you do not know the right words to say, or even if you cannot imagine how you could possibly live your life for God. This is the mystery of faith and the only way to heaven. He will guide you as He sees what is in your heart. Moreover, He will guide you each day in what you should do going forward. Once you fully surrender your life, the Holy Spirit will come and live inside of you. You will be spiritually reborn and you will have a whole new life that you can share with the Lord and your new family in the Body of Christ, which is the true Church. I pray you will open your heart and surrender all to the Lord as you read this. After that, keep your eyes on Him from this day forward as He has work for you to do. The harvest is plentiful, and yet the workers are few. Therefore, "This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24).
