"For that which is known about God is evident to them and made plain in their inner consciousness, because God [Himself] has shown it to them." (Romans 1:19 AMPC)
There are people that are vehemently resisting the truth, suppressing and making it inoperative in their lives. They are causing the same effects in the society and different organisations. They even sometimes create a wall around themselves and prevent you from reaching out them with the truth. The truth is, they are inexcusable, because God Himself will reveal the truth about Himself to them in their inner consciousness. He Himself will reach out to them by His power. Many of them will later become great evangelists of the truth and many will still continue in their obstinacy and perish.
A classic example of this, was Saul of Tarsus. He was hell-bent on extaminating the truth. But while Stephen was been stoned to death, something great started to happen to Saul. He was confronted in his inner consciousness with the truth, which became clear when God confronted him on his way to Damascus. He had a personal encounter with God and he was converted.
Our responsibility as a church of God is to pray even for those that are opposing the truth. We owe them a duty of prayer for their souls, we must pray to God to bypass all the walls of defence and reach out to them directly.
ACTION PLAN: We must start praying for the opposers of the truth. We must begin to commit their souls into God's hands.
PRAYER: Father, reach out to those that are deliberately opposing the truth. Encounter them in their inner consciousness.
