July 11th - Today my Monarch caterpillar shed his/her skin one last time and became a chrysalis.
It was 14 days ago that I found the caterpillar on a leaf of the honeyvine milkweed and in another 14 days (approximately) the Monarch should emerge as a beautiful butterfly.
Here is a video I took this morning of the caterpillar becoming a chrysalis. I hope to get some better pictures tomorrow.
