I read Psalms 116 verse 5, " Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful." The Lord told my soul that He is merciful. He told my soul that mercy is being gentle on those who are suffering and even though one is powerful, not using ones power to harm someone who is weak. The Lord told my soul that He is a gentle Lord and that even though he is powerful that He does not harm those who are weak and gentle and suffering but that He protects them. The Lord told my soul that evil uses its strength to harm the vulnerable and the weak and suffering but that He protects them and protects their beauty and their hearts.
