Prayers Of Paul: Prayer Principles/quotes That Will Change Your Life

The first recorded acts of Paul immediately after he encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus was recorded in Acts 9:11, '"Go and inquire for one called Saul of Tarsus; for, behold, he prayeth." This was where Paul began his journey, on his knees, on his knees he conquered the field. On his knees he conquered the field Read full article here THE PRAYERS OF PAUL

• Victory without ceasing is triggered by prayer without ceasing! For as long as we remain strong in the Lord and in the power of his might we will always overcome the wiles of the devil. Therefore Paul enjoined us in Hebrews 4:16, "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need". It doesn't matter who you are, where you are, what you do, an habitual lifestyle of prayer will bring you the help of God and with the help of God you can never be helpless on the earth.

• Wearied souls are helpless souls, helpless souls are prayerless souls! Tiredness in the journey of life occurs when you are disconnected from the source of life and help! Read full article here PAUL'S HABIT OF PRAYER

•Truth is, without needs and crises many of us would have never had a prayer life! But prayer should never be needs driven but fellowship driven for prayer is fellowship, friendship, partnership and companionship with the Godhead. For some of us it is crisis mode that activates spiritual intensity! About 70%-80% of believers lives on this mode! However, the higher spiritual plane is where spiritual intensity becomes your natural affinity! Read full article here THE PRAYERS OF PAUL - WHAT MOVED PAUL TO PRAY

•Paul said "always' I make mention you of in my prayers! For Paul, prayer was a lifestyle! And this is the way it ought to be for us as believers too: prayer ought to be a lifestyle not a life jacket! Read THE PRAYERS OF PAUL - WHAT MOVED PAUL TO PRAY

• As i meditated on this subject the Lord specifically spoke to my heart that "there will be less bad times in our lives if during good times we build up spiritual edge and power in the place of prayer". When we have stored up spiritual strength we will be less dazed and surprised by spiritual attacks! We will always be armed and ready to deal with the wiles of the enemy! The trouble with us is that during good times we let down our spiritual guard! For while men slept the enemy came and sow tares! But awake now you that sleeps and Christ shall give you light. Awake from your state of spiritual laxity for all spiritual laxities leads to spiritual captivity!

• Our prayer lives are never meant to be seasonal but phenomenal! One of the reasons prayer has become occasional for us is because it is the spiritual default mode that has been handed down to us by our parents and spiritual fathers! We only run to the Lord in the time of troubles. Prayer is always about requests and never about relationship and intimacy! This was the pattern that we saw play out as we grew up in the faith and we automatically flow along that spiritual plane. Prayer then became a spiritual response to crisis rather than a spiritual relationship with Christ. Read full article here WHAT MOVED PAUL TO PRAY(2)

•Today's modern believers only want to praise like David but do not want to pray like David! But you can't praise like David if you can't pray like David because the praise report of David were produced by the prayer life of David! Each time he prays and there is a result he comes back to give God praise two times over! That was David for you, a man of passionate prayer and praise! Read the Psalms again you are going to see as much prayers as you see praise!

• And that was what I saw in the Epistles of Paul too. All the prayers of Paul carries the spirit of David in prayer and in praise. Paul must have ate the Psalms for if you read his epistles he quoted more extensively from the book of Psalms and the book of Isaiah. Let's not go into details of that now, but when you read the prayers of Paul you see a man who has at the back of his mind Davids admonition that says, "It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord'. Paul did give thanks. Almost all of his prayers open with thanksgiving like as if he was following the spiritual progression the psalmist gave in Psalm 100, " enter his gates with thanksgiving". The message translation puts thanksgiving as the "password". Thanksgiving is the spiritual password into Gods presence! Read full article here PAUL: THE ADDICTED THANKS GIVER
