...after reading Mark 5:35-41, with particular attention to the latter part of verse 36: And other little boats were also with Him (NKJV - bold mine)
Blessed are those who sail
in faith’s flotilla, with Christ,
Who, although seeing Him from a distance,
trust within gales to survive.
They would not follow if He didn’t care;
Not much space in their boats,
but adventuring hearts have an Anchor.
Tempests may come and wash water wind-torn,
but they know the lead Captain
will call, “Peace!”, to the on-board.
Who can this be Whom elements obey?
This same Jesus, who launched us from the bay.
Bay of belief and baptism song’s boast,
following the Apostles in other little boats,
forming one body, ploughing through waves.
Blessed are the sails in the calm of His wake.
