There were many people in the world, they still all followed one another into more corrupt living apart from their Creator and what was meant for them, while threatening and harming others, human and nonhuman creatures altogether. And they did not listen to the preaching and the warnings, and when the animals of the land in pairs of every kind came to the structure called the ark and entered it, and the family of eight entered it, when no others who cared to live according to the Creator in ways meant for them were left, it was sealed, and the catastrophes came, great destruction came on the world, with intense rain and massive flooding that came to cover everything, and only the ark endured of what had been in the land, with those in it surviving.
