One Lord, One Body

There exists well over 40,000 denominations of Christianity today. 40,000 ways to believe the Christ… and what do we make of this? Was Jesus’ vision about division?

Two was a problem that required a Savior to resolve. Yeshua made the two, Gentile and Jew into one. (Ephesians 2:14)

He literally removed the dividing wall between the two groups… yet a short time and brick after brick was laid to build a new one.

Yeshua desires one body. He and the Father are one… and we are to be one in them.

John 17:21-23 NASB
21) that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22) The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;
23) I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

All in one. This is the will of the Father and the will of the Father will be done.

See your brothers and sisters in Messiah… those of different sects and know we are one when we stand before the King. Look closely and witness a moving spirit of reconciliation and restoration.

Joseph entered into death by the pit but was raised to sit at the right hand of Pharaoh. He was not recognized by his own brothers. Unable to withhold his identity forever, Joseph revealed himself as the preserver of life for his people. Sending the brothers to retrieve Israel... bringing the family to a land of provision... Joseph instructed them, “Do not quarrel on the journey” (Gen 45:24)

As Christians we recognize and accept the one who was sent to preserve life… let us find the good things that we share in him and not quarrel on the journey.
