Some of us had played games that are rip-offs before in our lives. Rip-off games are basically games that are similar or too similar and lacks it's own concept into works. For example, I've played Minimon 3D and I didn't like it because it was too similar to Pokemon including the story and even the moves was related so I quit playing it. SEGA do the same thing with Sonic games which makes me don't like him much as I used to.
In my opinion, they're boring and show no different concept worth of effort. If I played a game that is too similar to another game it been rip-off then I'm probably not gonna played it at least.
