My Convictions

Just a few thoughts this morning! We have been blessed to have people referred to us. The first thing I ask them is "Has anyone told you there is hope without medication?" The answer is always no! We prayed for a young lady a few weeks ago who was in tears because she was told she needed medication and she hated them! Kathy started texting her to let her know we are here if she needs us! I visited with her in church a couple of weeks ago! She was beaming with a huge smile unlike when we prayed for her in tears!

I have been communicating with a lady in California. Good Baptist I suppose! She found my website crosswired.us. We have not been promoting the site but people who search Bipolar seem to find us. Her son was walking with God until he went through some hard times. He was given a bipolar diagnosis! Put on meds and eventually self medicated with drugs and alcohol. God delivered him and today he is back in church and walking with God! PTL! His mother wants to be involved with the ministry God has given us! God is opening doors and for that we are thankful!

The crosswired.us is in development. If you go to the Psychiatry page you can read a few articles about the failure of medication for our emotions, both from believers and nonbelievers. We now have long term results of medication and it has been a failure!

A local Baptist pastor who supports our ministry in content said if he preached it over the pulpit he would have members leave! He shared one of his elderly ladies was prescribed medication. He said they had to rescue her because it messed her up! She is doing fine now!

Can I talk about Rick Warren! His son had the best counselors, the best psych medications (that cause suicidal thoughts) and he still committed suicide!

The you men that are responsible for the mass school shootings were medicated for mental illness! The meds that cause homicidal and suicidal thoughts! The devil is having a hay day with these drugs!

One more thought! I own a number of Bibles! I also own a DSM 5! One where we find the wisdom of man! I have not read through it but I don't believe it mentions God! It used to because one of the symptoms was “they claim to here from God!” They removed that! Homosexuality used to be a mental illness until the LBGT community got upset. The DSM is always changing!

Gods Word never changes! The wisdom of God or the wisdom of man! Can they coexist?

1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in Gods sight.

1 Corinthians 1:19 For I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent! Along with Isaiah 29:14!

The wisdom of the wise (DSM5) will look foolish if what I teach is Truth and the church comes alongside the many hurting people in and outside of the pews! When truth is spoken God moves!

I am interested in Truth!

I believe Romans 8:28! Everything I have gone though in my life is working together for good! If I don't go where God has called me then I have failed!

Looking to share my convictions with church leadership! You could develop a Cross Wired Ministry. The name is not important but the principles used would change lives! An alternative to medication for Depression, Bipolar, PTSD, Anxiety, Fear, ADHD and more! If you just start with depression and you help people who struggle get through the valley millions would realize there is hope without medication! When this message gets out the church could come together and reach the 44,000,000 people in the United States who are on antidepressants. If we throw in all the other diagnosis we can reach the 88,000,000 who are on psychotropic medication! FYI I just looked up the definition of Psychotropic Drugs!

“ A psychoactive drug, psychopharmaceutical, or psychotropic is a chemical substance that changes brain function and results in alterations in perception, mood, consciousness, cognition, or behavior.” Sounds to me like what illegal drugs do! The wisdom of man! Church Wake Up!

Please let me know if you would be interest developing a ministry in your church! I would love to share with your church leadership and would love to share in your church but statistics say 20% of people in the U.S. are on antidepressants and the sad thing is 20% of the people sitting in your pews on Sunday morning are also on medication! Why? Because your Doctor said it might help! I will continue contacting churches large and small. The small ones seem to be more receptive!

Matthew 11:28 New International Version (NIV)

28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

No matter what we go through there is a resting place in Christ!

In Him
