I was so confused about this up until today. Today I make up my mind completely to study, meditate upon and obey the laws of the Father.
I don't think it important for ALL Christian, but if the Father has pulled your heart to himself in such a way it is up to you to respond. The laws were given to the House of Yasharel, but unto the gentiles salvation is granted through the Holy Spirit by faith in our Messiah. I fully believe that if you already have the Spirit you will be lead to keep the Laws of God from your heart and not from your mind/conscience/effort.
Until the day that I am granted the Spirit, I have decided to develop great Love and Respect for the Laws of God... And if/when I receive the Spirit I will allow him to guide me to even higher synchronicity with God.
The Laws show me who God is, and being an Image Bearer - who I am in truth... What he likes and doesn't like. What is sinful in his eyes. Now would I rather live my whole life steeped in the enmity of God and be unaware? I must study the Tanahk.
