Deut 22:8-23:7
It was expected that if your house had a flat roof (and generally they did) that the owner build a guard rail. If someone was on the roof (we'd call it a patio) and fell off then the owner was held responsible. They were considered blood-guilty for failure to protect human life. This blood-guilt was applied to the builder, and the owner, and/or resident of the house. This applies to all situations where danger to life exists.
Do not sow other crops with your grapes, don't yolk an ox and a donkey to each other or wearing linen and wool together. The idea behind it is that God has made distinctions in the natural world and it's wrong for man to obliterate it by mixing. Some people say these prohibitions are to call out the mixing of races, which I disagree with because God made only one race...the human race. Another that makes a bit more sense is the mixing of two different religions. That generally does not work well at all. I really could not find much on the mixing of seeds, but for the yolking of an ox and a donkey together, an ox is much bigger and stronger than a donkey and the poor donkey would be practically dragged through the field by the ox...quite unfair for both animals. With the mixing of linen and wool, an article called The Power of Linen is a very interesting read. An exert:
If a man, after marrying decides he does not like his new bride and tries to get out of the marriage by accusing her of not being a virgin was a serious issue. The parents would then bring the proof (blood on the marriage bed sheets) as proof that she indeed was a virgin when she married. If the parents brought this proof the man was whipped and fined. He had to stay married to her and provide for her for the rest of her life. She did not have to live with him, but he did have to support her.
The instruction was the same for a man who had raped a women where there was no one around to hear her call for help. He had to marry her and provide for her for the rest of her life, even though, she was not required to live with him. If the woman wanted to stay with him she could, but she had the freedom to move back to her parents home and the man had to support her as his wife for the rest of her life.
As I mentioned a few posts ago, these instructions were for Israel then. I think several of the instructions in this section fall into that area. Due to changing times certain actions are just no longer taken by the law of the land. That does not disqualify the bottom line though. We are still to be faithful to God and His will and ways in heart and deed. God's instructions were with a bottom line that had a point and that point is still in affect. Be holy before Him. Not promiscuous, don't be a jerk husband and make false accusations, remain faithful to your spouce, etc..
Just treat each other as you would want others to treat you and don't do to others what you would not want done to you.

- If you want to maintain health & heal your body, it is recommended to wear wool or linen. Be aware of the Biblical warning of wearing wool and linen together, which scientific studies have proven to be accurate: the energy of these two fabrics worn together collapsed the electrical field. While the two textiles both measure 5,000 signature frequencies individually, when put together, they cancelled each other out, and – in some cases – brought measurable weakness and even pain to sensitive persons.
